If your car has a removable cradle system (known as "UHI" or "MHI" system) then you will require a ViseeO MB-2. This system can be identified by the UHI plug (see picture below) which is found in the centre armrest.

The UHI phone system is also known as 'telephone pre-wiring'. This basically means that your Mercedes is equipped with telephone functions and by adding a ViseeO MB-2 you will be able to take full advantage of this telephone equipment though a wireless Bluetooth connection using any mobile phone.

The Mercedes option number for the UHI phone system is Option 386. If you have Option 386 installed from new this means you have the UHI system installed and a ViseeO MB-2 will work in your vehicle.

This may be hidden in some cars by a black plastic cap if a phone cradle has never been installed. This plastic cap can be simply unclipped to reveal the plug. You may already have a phone cradle from Mercedes installed; any cradle fitted will easily unclip from the UHI plug by carefully sliding towards the rear of the car. The ViseeO MB-2 simply clips onto the UHI plug and requires no further installation.

If your car does not have the UHI plug, then the ViseeO MB-2 will not fit your vehicle.
